Hi all,

I'm after a steering wheel interface to use the controls in a VY commodore on an Alpine iDA-X305s head unit but are unsure of what to get.

I've heard about some of the programmable interfaces having a delay from when the button is pushed to the unit actally operating?? I would like to avoid this if possible.

What are the best units to get?

Cheers
Benno

PAC SWI-X (http://pac-audio.com...2&CategoryID=29)

Or CAT (http://www.thecat.net.au/cat10.htm)

I personally have the PAC in my VZ.

No delays etc. If the remote you have doesn't work, try one from a different model - both units can be annoying with the frequencies of the remotes but they usually have a rough guide of what headunits will work. I have a JVC double din, I had to use a random one from a single din to program it.

Where is the best place to get hold of a CAT10? I can't seem to find anywhere to buy one of these online.

Cheers
